Really just thinking and stuff...I don't wanna be one of "those" guys. I also don't wanna be forgotten. How do you avoid selling out? Matter fact, what the fuck is selling out? What if I super fuck with Lady Gaga and Katy Perry's music? What if I think RedOne and Dr Luke are geniuses? WHAT IF? Me and my homie had a conversation about how well I'd fit in at a certain record label, and I'm inclined to agree. Lmao. It's really funny where I'm at right now. About to do a couple risky things but who really cares, at the end of it all? I just wanna make music I personally fuck with. I'm not gonna front like opinions don't matter to me, but I also don't want to be a slave to them. I can't control it, so I'm learning to let go. I'm becoming a better person through this music shit so at least it did that for me...at the very least. We all struggle to overcome the criticism of others, when really what we need to overcome is our own self-hatred. We tear ourselves down more than anyone ever could, and I'm not just talking about artists or rappers. I mean people. We need to love ourselves more. If we did, there'd be A LOT less shit-talking and animosity...just saying.

Falling Skies - Review
I had the privilege of attending an early screening of TNT's new alien invasion series, "Falling Skies," and from what I saw in the 2 hour premiere, it's worth checking out. It's got a slight twist on the typical post-invasion story, as in the first few seconds you find out the world's militaries have been largely destroyed and it's up to small pockets of human resistance to fight back. Good characters and relationships that could pay out in the long run make this worth checking out. The preview for the rest of the season shows promise as well, hinting at multiple twists and turns along the way. I'm keen on an alien invasion SERIES because we will get to see character development that just isn't possible in a 2 hour film.
It's worth a watch. The 2 hour premier airs June 19th on TNT.
